Very impressed how the blade always works, and the hook spins perfectly, but after the first fish, the hook Bends straight out. Put a #2 VMC on the back and you have the best product on the market
I've used just about every other brand in this style of lure and they all constantly tangle while casting, WalleyeX advertised that the depth charge won't tangle while being casted so I figured I'd give them a shot. I can say their advertisement was right! I've had nothing but success throwing this bait this past month of trying them out, they have became a go to for walleyes for me. Easy to use easy to cast and easy to swap out hooks if you prefer something other than a slow death hook like myself. Walleyes can't resist! Buy some for yourself and see!
These are well made and have a great action fish can't resist. Either working weed edges or using FFS for suspended basin fish these flat out catch fish.
Good weight forward bait. Doesn’t tangle on the cast. Will buy heavier from here forward as I did have trouble keeping it at depth when retrieving

This isnt just another similar bait to the other similar lures on the market. These are different body styles with a very cool lip. They also have a different, deep rattle that is great. These lures are going to put a lot of fish in the boat.

I've been hammering the walleyes around shallow weeds with the 1/4 oz! The 1/2 oz has been working great in the deeper open water.
I’ve fished with almost every brand of these baits and I can definitely says the WalleyeX brand has been the best! Reasons are: cast ability, blades spins freely at slow speeds and the smell hook keeper holds a crawler on long a good amount of long distance casts! If you are having possible trouble keeping it from getting tangled on a long cast i would suggest taking a piece of shrink wrap over the front end of the swivel. Make sure to not go over the full swivel because they will defeat the purpose of the spinning swivel of the bait. Or the easiest thing is the give it more of a lobbing cast so the hook stays floating behind the lead head on the cast. Great bait and definitely always tied on all summer!
The depth charge is a well built bait. It has a sharp hook, also excellent color and size selections. It performs exceptionally well against other baits similar to its design. I would highly recommend trying them out, you won't be disappointed!
These are great every day baits that anybody can catch fish with. Have been running these all spring with great success and no tuning needed.
Out of the box these are a well designed and impressive looking bait. Have had the chance to run them a little and they pull very easy and true with no tuning needed. These are gonna be great baits when we move into deep open water fishing.
Great tracking and flutter. I liked that I could work these lures slow and still get great action on them! I had #5’s, would like to try #7 and 9’s too!
This is a versatile bait with the different size weights it can be used many ways. When the bite is tough this bait will help put fish in the boat. The paint holds up to reef abuse unlike a normal jig which flakes and shows signs of wear after a couple casts. Hook can be replaced if it gets dull, broke or if you’re just looking for a different presentation. Highly recommend having these in your bag ready to use on the water.
I’ve always been a lipless crank bait guy! The Ripper has been one of my favorites. From casting, vertical jigging and snap jigging this bait has proven to be in the top 5 of my arsenal! I run both sizes and they both have there place. The rattles have the perfect sound, not to loud but not to quiet. Hard to explain but long story short they made a killer bait!
Excellent design and real durable. Many snags and big fish later, still no flaws!
